WE ARE NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION. NAME IS PAIN SOCIETY OF CAMBODIA
(PSC). TO DO PALLIATIVE CARE IN PHNOM PENH AND URBAN CITY OF CAMBODIA, IT
HAS FORMED SINCE MARCH 2015 BY REQUEST OF MOH (MINISTER OF HEALTH).
PSC was collaborated with medical in university of health science in Cambodia. And involve with NGO working on palliative care since 2015.
We are working on palliative care in country and oversea. Currently PSC (pain society of Cambodia) Doing Pain education, home base care on field community to treatment patient cancer pain, Pediatric pain chronic pain…
Methods
We ran a day No Pain workshop in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 09 December 2017. On that day we trained a total trainers workshop for 100 participants.
The participants are from the national hospital around Phnom Penh city. there are Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital(KSFH), Calmet hospital, Preak Kosamak Hospital(PKH), Pediatric National Hospital, Provincial Health Department(PHD),Operation District(OD), NGO’s partner and Other health facility in Cambodia.

Results
Course participants completed 25 questions pre and post test at the beginning and end of the workshop to assess learning during the day. The result only shows those participants who completed a pre and a post test.
– Participants have known about pain issues such as physical and psychological,
– Seven of the participants were trained to be a co-teaching.
– All participants who came from differences hospitals wanted collaboration with PSC
– All participants, coming from differences hospitals are organized to be PSC’s member.
Conclusions
Participants completed are feedback from at the end of each course. Overall feedback was very positive.
All participants who coming from differences hospitals, will be linking together in doing things such as capacity building, sharing experience, workshop for helping patient.
-To do education about pain.
-To promote no pain of treatment skill.
-To do Advocacy and management about pain.
